Responding to social media reports that health authorities had directed him to home quarantine following his recent visit to a foreign country, Minister Namal Rajapaksa said he is not serving home quarantine.

In a Twitter message, he said he was not prepared to accept the opportunity to complete his quarantine period at home, though he is a father of a six-month old infant.

Meanwhile, the Minister said they were taking measures to ease quarantine regulations for those Lankans returning from overseas and other Sri Lankan citizens after consulting the health officials.
