Speaking at a farewell function held at the Ministry of Health, she said she was trying to make up her mind that “everything happens for the best.”
“The Ministry of Transport has been handed over to me at an unexpected moment. I didn’t really know until I got to the Presidential Secretariat. In any case, you have to accept everything in life happily,” she said.
“I never expected this sudden change. Before I went there, I told two doctors that I was wondering if there would be a ministry reshuffle. They both said it wouldn’t be so. When I arrived at the Ministry, I heard that I had been assigned to the Ministry of Transport instead of the Ministry of Health. I did not know that this change was to happen before I went there. We have to think whatever happens, it happens for our own good,” she said.
“In any case, you have to accept everything in life happily. Let’s make up our minds that everything happens for the good. There is nothing else to do. I am saddened. Please support the new Minister too. I still say we have only about 4 more weeks to go. At present we have vaccinated 54% of the population. In another 4 weeks, we can save this country,” she added.
