President Gotabaya Rajapaksa yesterday said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has agreed to provide the fertilizer required for the ‘Yala’ season under the Indian credit line.
This fertilizer consignment, to be supplied under the Indian credit line, will be distributed soon after it arrives in the country.
The President mentioned this during a meeting held last evening (June 01) to discuss the challenges faced by the irrigation sector.
