My client is willing to give evidence in connection with the Sri Lankans listed in the controversial Pandora Papers, imprisoned former MP- Ranjan Ramanayake’s Lawyer informed yesterday.
The Lawyer had informed Chairperson of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption -Eva Wanasundara
Attorney-at-Law Asan Fernando in his letter said Ranjan Ramanayake who was currently being held at the Angunakolapelessa Prison, was willing to give evidence in connection with the commission’s investigation into Nirupama Rajapaksa and Thirukumar Nadesan whose names had been mentioned in the Pandora Papers.
The Attorney-at-Law said that his client was seeking an opportunity to assist in the investigation.
The Bribery Commission is currently investigating the Sri Lankans listed in the Pandora Papers following the directive of the President.
