Sri Lankan spin legend Muttiah Muralitharan who underwent a successful coronary angioplasty with stents on Sunday, has been discharged from Chennai’s Apollo Hospital.
In a press release, the hospital stated that Muralitharan could resume his normal activities.
He has undergone an angioplasty procedure after being admitted for cardiac evaluation on Sunday.
The 49-year-old is the bowling coach of Sun Risers Hyderabad (SRH), who are currently playing their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 matches in Chennai.
