Prices of 12.5kg Litro domestic LP gas will not be increased despite the price increase of LP gas in the world market, Litro Gas Chairman Muditha Peiris said.
While addressing the media, he said the 12.5kg domestic LITRO gas cylinder price had decreased four times. Accordingly, Rs. 1,005 was reduced in April, Rs. 100 was reduced in May, Rs. 452 was reduced in June, and Rs. 204 was reduced in July.
The Litro company had identified the price fluctuation of gas in the international market and, with efficient management, collected gas stocks when the prices in the world market remained stable.
The current retail price of the 12.5kg gas cylinder is Rs. 2,982. The 5 kg gas cylinder is Rs. 1,198. The 2.3 kg cylinder is Rs.561.
