The current fuel crisis will not affect SriLankan Airlines or domestic airline services in the country, Aviation and Investment Zone Development State Minister D.V. Chanaka said.   He said SriLankan Airlines already has sufficient fuel reserves for the next one and a half months. 32 million USD was paid last week for future purchases of fuel. SriLankan Airlines also has the dollar reserves required to purchase fuel.

Accordingly, the Ministry has taken steps to ensure that the services provided to SriLankan Airlines are never disrupted.
