The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) yesterday announced power shedding for today (9) as a result of fuel scarcity and the absence of power generators.
Accordingly, areas A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K and L will experience two-and-a-half hours from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm and one hour and 15 minutes from 6.00 pm to 11.00 pm.
Areas that come under P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W group will experience two hours from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and one hour from 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm, the PUCSL said.
They also said the new area definition is available at PUCSL and CEB’s official Websites.
