Leaders of Political parties representing Parliament has decided that sessions should be conducted as normal from next month, Serjeant-at-Arms Narendra Fernando said yesterday.
Mr. Fernando told Daily Mirror that party leaders decided to have a full week of sessions from October 5 to October 8.
However, the sessions will be confined to two days next week. Therefore, the House will meet on September 21 and on September 22. The House is expected to debate several regulations imposed under Ports and Aviation Bill, Import Export Control Act while the Consumer Affairs Authority (Amendment ) Bill will be taken up for debate on Wednesday.
