Peradeniya Uni students involved in a clash

Several students had received injuries in a clash on Wednesday evening (14) between two groups of students for and against ragging in the university and were admitted to the Peradeniya Teaching Hospital. Police said four students of the law faculty had been injured.   

Investigations revealed that a group of more than 30 students were involved in the attack on those against ragging. The University administration had received information of several of them.  

Peradeniya Police and the University Administration are conducting separate investigations.
