A 35-year old medical doctor attached to a National Hospital in Colombo was arrested and remanded for trespassing and taking pictures of a lady doctor at the Ragama Hospital.
Police Spokesman SDIG Ajith Rohana said a complaint was made by the lady Doctor to the Ragama Hospital claiming that the suspect Doctor had entered her room stealthily and took pictures while she was undressing on Saturday.
The suspect, a resident of Samanthurai was arrested accordingly.
The police also took the mobile phone of the suspect into their custody and it was learnt that the suspect had joined the Ragama Hospital a few months ago.
He was produced before the Welisara Magistrate and remanded till July 16. Following his arrest, the police received two more complaints against the same person in connection with similar incidents.
