President, Japanese PM to hold bilateral talks in Japan

President Ranil Wickremesinghe is expected to hold bilateral talks with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida during his visit to Japan.   A statement from the Japanese Foreign Ministry, states the Japanese Prime Minister is to meet President Wickremesinghe to exchange views on bilateral relations between Japan and Sri Lanka and also regional and international affairs.   

President Wickremesinghe is scheduled to attend the Nikkei Forum 28th Future of Asia.   
“It is expected that President Wickremesinghe’s visit to Japan will further deepen the friendly relations between Japan and Sri Lanka,” the statement said.
