President to address nation at 8.30 tonight

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa will address the nation  issuing a special statement today at 8.30 p.m. via all television stations, the Presidential Secretariat said.   

Sources said the speech will be on the present health situation and the steps taken to address the COVID-19 situation, as well as the economic situation of the country.
