The price of one kilogram of imported wheat flour has been reduced by another Rs. 25, the Essential Food Commodities Importers and Traders Association (EFCITA) said.
As such, the current price of a kilogram of imported wheat flour will be sold for Rs.265 in the market.
The Association had earlier reduced the whole sale price of one kilogram of wheat flour by Rs. 85 from last Friday (14).
However, the All Ceylon Bakery Owners’ Association (ACBOA) said that the prices of bakery products, including a loaf of bread, would be reduced only if the price of wheat flour is lesser than Rs.270.
