Printing of calendars and diaries decline by 90 percent

Printing of calendars and diaries have declined by 90 per cent, Sri Lanka Printers Association President Ariyadasa Weeraman said. 

Mr. Weeraman who is also the President of Sri Lanka Book Publishers Association said printing calendars, books and diaries have become a dream. 

“Publishing of books and printing of other material has become a dream as a result of the hike  in the price of paper.”

“Authorities must focus on the situation and come up with a solution,” he said.
