Public comments switched off on GR’s Facebook page

The public comments section has been switched off on President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s official Facebook page following increasing public anger against the government at the present crisis facing the country.

While the official page is being updated regularly, showing the events the President is attending, the comments section has been switched off, only allowing the public to ‘like’ or share the posts.

The comments section was switched off yesterday.

Presently the President, Prime Minister and government MPs are all facing severe public anger at the 13-hour-long power cuts and the mismanagement which has led to Sri Lanka’s economy being left almost ruined.
