’Ratta’ arrested and bailed out

• The suspect was produced before the Fort Magistrate Court and released on bail

The Slave Island Police last evening arrested Rathindu Suramya Senaratne alias Ratta, a prominent social media activist and a leading activist at the ‘GotaGoGama’.  

He was summoned to the Slave Island Police Station yesterday to make a statement regarding allegations that he had obstructed the police during a protest in front of the Fort Magistrates Court.  

Later the suspect was produced before the Fort Magistrate Court and was released on bail.
