Party leaders have decided to take up the motion on 24 May 2023, to remove Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) Chairman Janaka Ratnayake from his post, Parliament sources said. It has been decided to hold a debate on the resolution following the request made by the Opposition. The report on the probe carried out on Mr. Ratnayake was tabled by Chief Government Whip Prasanna Ranatunga on Tuesday.
