Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) will ally with Chandrika Bandaranaike faction of SLFP, Leader of Opposition Sajith Premadasa said over the weekend.
Premadasa came up with this remark at the farmers forum in Ampara over the weekend.
He also claimed that former minister P. Dayaratne is also with the SJB. “ I invited Mr. Dayaratne to this forum but he could not participate in it due to ill health,” he said. Premadasa said a future SJB will not divide subjects of ministries just to please anyone.
He attacked the UNP, SLPP and NPP saying all these parties have got together to sling mud at his party.” The UNP, SLPP, and NPP are afraid of the SJB. This is why they are slinging mud at us together. We are not afraid of mudslinging. He also advised farmers to go online and learn how countries such as Israel make maximum benefits out of agriculture using limited resources.
