Sri Lanka and Belarus universities are to sign MoUs to enhance ties under which future of Sri Lankan students studying in the Eastern European nation will be secured.
Education Minister Susil Premajayantha who met his Belarus counterpart Andrei I. Ivanets discussed the signing of the MoU.
There are many Sri Lankan students studying in Belarus, especially in the field of medicine. The two ministers discussed the needs of these students.
Minister Premajayantha mentioned that curriculums of Sri Lankan universities and schools will be changed according to current needs.
Mr. Ivanets assured fullest support for the development of education in Sri Lanka.
