Sri Lanka, India discuss strategic interests

Ahead of Foreign Minister Prof. G. L. Peiris’ visit to India, Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to India Milinda Moragoda met with Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Kumar to review the status of the bilateral relationship and to discuss priority areas for future cooperation, a statement said. 

The duo discussed a range of issues pertaining to the mutual strategic interests of the two countries. 
The statement from the Sri Lankan mission said the High Commissioner thanked the National Security Advisor for the support extended by India to Sri Lanka in many spheres. 


Ajit Kumar Doval is the fifth National Security Advisor of India. He holds the rank of a Cabinet Minister.
