Two people have collapsed and died at a New Year party in Pandikaramulla in Galenbindunuwewa, the Police said.   

The dead persons have been identified as K. G. Seneviratne aged 55 and S. P. Loku Bandara, according to Police.   

The two victims who have collapsed,  had been rushed to hospital and had died on admission.   
Another person who had also collapsed had been admitted to the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital for further treatment.
