Public Security Minister Tiran Alles said yesterday that the ministry has all the details regarding the whereabouts of underworld criminal gang leader Kanjipani Imran but those cannot be shared with the press.
He made these comments in response to a question from a journalist about information on Kanjipani Imran that has been circulating widely on social media.
The minister also mentioned that no arrest of Kanjipani Imran has been reported from any other country, nor has any information been received from foreign countries regarding him.
“I noticed several people making statements in YouTube discussions about Kanjipani Imran, claiming they could bring him back if permitted. All those statements are lies. We have information about Kanjipani Imran,” Minister Alles said.
He also said that the correct information about Kanjipani Imran’s whereabouts is with the state intelligence service, which provides him with all the necessary details.
“We cannot operate based on statements made on social media. These people are trying to gain attention by making false claims,” he added.
