We will have fuel stocks by April

• Says will send fuel to all stations in Colombo every morning and afternoon

While claiming that by New Year there will be sufficient  fuel stocks available, Energy Minister Gamini Lokuge yesterday said  that measures have been taken to send a diesel and petrol bowser to all  fuel stations in Colombo every morning and afternoon. 

Some bowsers have returned as they claimed that these  places already had sufficient fuel stocks. Some places still have fuel  stocks that we sent.   

A shipment carrying petrol was unloaded on Wednesday night,  and another shipment carrying diesel and jet oil was to be unloaded yesterday at Kolonnawa. We are expecting another shipment by  April 1 and by New Year we will have sufficient fuel stocks.
