This August, one of Sri Lanka’s software development leaders, Creative Solutions, signed an agreement for development of a new Salesforce Automation (SFA) software solution based on the top-selling business book titled Selling to Zebras.

“The author of the book, Jeff Koser, is a leading authority on complex B2B sales cycles and how companies can work smarter (not harder) to dramatically improve their sales processes,” said Creative Solutions Director Sushena Ranatunga.

“We are proud to be able to develop this software in Sri Lanka based on Jeff’s revolutionary ideas and experience. We are confident that the software will be a great asset for any organisation looking to improve their sales performance.”

Selling to Zebras is a collection of Koser’s best practices that save sales reps time by helping them identify and focus their efforts on “Zebras” or prospects with the highest potential to become great customers.

Selling to Zebras promises to aid readers in “closing 90 percent of business they pursue” and the effectiveness of Koser’s methodologies landed his book among the top 18 sales books of all time in Andrew Clancy’s The Sales Gurus - Lessons from the Best Sales Books of All Time.

The book’s success prompted Koser to think about developing a software solution that can automate and simplify the lead qualification and customer acquisition process or “spotting and bagging the zebras”. Creative Solutions quickly emerged at the top of potential development centres and the contract was awarded this August.

“We chose Creative Solutions because we have received remarkable first-hand references from its clients and are confident it is capable of delivering great results for us and our customers,” said Selling To Zebras, Inc. Founder and CEO Jeff Koser.

Creative Solutions’ team has already started developing the software that will likely be transforming the way thousands of sales professionals work on a day-to-day basis.

“This is an interesting and forward-thinking project and we are very pleased that Selling To Zebras has selected Creative Solutions and the talent pool of Sri Lanka to realize its vision,” said Ranatunga.

“Sri Lanka is fast becoming the preferred development destination for small and medium sized IP-owners and this project is further evidence of this trend.”
