The vertical lines immediately above the Line of Marriage or Affection are the lines of Children or progeny.

The lines of children are so thin, it is difficult to see them with the naked eye.  In many a case, it is necessary to use a magnifying glass to discern them.  However, sometimes, you can see the Children lines deeply marked in a woman’s hand.  

Broad and deep Children lines indicate sons and weak and thin lines daughters.

If the line past the island is strong, the child would grow strong and health during the latter part of the childhood.  If the line ends with an island, the child would never grow up. 

If one line stands out clear and distinct, the child indicated by that line would be more successful life than others. 

A person with an undeveloped Mount of Venus is not likely to have children.  This indication is confirmed if the first bracelet is found rising like an arch towards the palm.
