Vedic Astrology gives an important place among predictive techniques to yogas or special combinations or configurations of planets in a horoscope. 


Special yogas identified at a glance in a horoscope enable the astrologer reading it make a snapshot judgment of it: whether the native would achieve great success in life or he would remain in poor and humble circumstances till the end of his life. despite being born into very humble circumstances, would achieve success in the course of time of perseverance or under fortuitous circumstances etc.


In the previous articles we discussed the Sunapha, Anapha, Durudhara, Vasumati, Gaja-kesari, Kahala, Pancha Maha Purusha Yogas and also Shreenatha, Adhi, Akhanda Samrajaya, Chamara, Sankha and Sarada yogas.  We propose to familiarize our readers with some more important yogas in this article.

Lakshmi Yoga:  This yoga arises when the 9th lord and Venus are placed in their own signs or their exaltation signs identical with a Kendra or a Moolatrikona. 


The results: A person fortified with this yoga at birth will possess immense wealth and lead a happy life. He would also have noble qualities and virtues, an extremely handsome appearance and a high reputation for honesty.


Maha Bhagya Yoga: This yoga arises for a male born during the day time if the Sun, Moon and the Lagna are in odd signs. In the case of a female, the yoga is formed if she is born in the night when the Sun, the Moon and the Lagna are in even signs. 


The results: A person born into the Maha Bhagya Yoga would rise to a position of a ruler and he would be generous, famous and long-lived. 


Vasi Yoga: This yoga results when there are planets placed in the 12th House from the Sun at birth.


The results: Native would be very influential, rich and wealthy.


Vesi Yoga: Beneficial planets in the 2nd from the Sun at birth produces this yoga.


The results: Native would be a good conversationalist and a fluent speaker. He would be wealthy, courageous and extremely charitable. 


Ubhayachara Yoga: This yoga arises  when there are benefics in the 2nd and the 12th Houses from the Sun at birth.


The results: Native would rise to a position of a ruler. He would be kind, sympathetic and philanthropic.
