Christmas means two things to me: joy and chaos—and my photo shoots capture both! It’s all about spreading festive cheer, one family photo and a few dozen Christmas ornaments at a time!

This Christmas, let’s capture the joy of the season at Jasper Studio!

Beautiful backdrops and  fun props to choose from. Quick 15-min sessions—perfect for your busy holiday plans. Turn your photos into heartfelt cards, mugs, calendars and more!

Bring your family, friends, or just yourself—let’s make some magical memories together.

So it all started when Dhanush and Shani had a baby—and his adorable little face got snapped! That’s when they fell in love with the idea of creating magical Christmas sets for all of us to enjoy.

Fun fact: You can even bring your dog… OK, fine, your cat too! Let’s make it a paw-some Christmas!

Q:Why do you choose to celebrate Christmas with themed photo shoots every year? What inspired this tradition?

So basically this started off with a simple homemade prop for our son the year he was born which turned into a hit with friends raving about how much they loved it. That’s when we thought, “Why not turn this up a notch next year and see where this takes us?”

Q:What makes this year’s Christmas-themed photo shoot at Jasper Studio special or different from previous years?

Well it’s always special …a photo for me is special regardless and it’s also a memory  ….  every year we try to change the backdrops as we have a repeat clientele so we want them to have pictures that look different every year.

Q:How do you come up with the themes and backdrops that truly capture the joy and magic of the season?

Well just think of a theme and keep adding to it as we go along … but it’s limited to whatever we can do ourselves so that its unique….

Q:Why do you think families, friends, and kids are drawn to these Christmas-themed shoots year after year?

We just feel it brings the family together … most of our shoots are a good laugh … and it’s really nice to see the generations coming together for the group pics.

Q:What are some of the most memorable moments you’ve captured during past Christmas-themed shoots?

In the last 3 years we have seen newborns growing up

and the siblings coming in … that’s really nice to see …

Q:When do you usually start preparing for these Christmas shoots, and how far in advance should people book to secure their slot?

We start sourcing our stuff in July but as the studio is used for other advertising photography shoots etc we only start setting up end October … we recommend everyone to book as early as possible as that way we have more time to spend with them. December is always hectic and we always end up running out of slots !

Q:How late into the season do these shoots run? Do you continue photographing into January to capture the holiday spirit lingering into the New Year?

Last two years we ran upto end Jan simply because  we ran out of slots and what everyone told us is that it doesn’t matter that Christmas is over as the photo is a keepsake !

Q:What tips would you give to clients who want to “go to town” with their Christmas ornaments and outfits for the shoot?

Go for it ! Merrier the better ! We also encourage everyone to bring their pets as we beilieve they are part of the family and they should be in the family portrait !

Q:How do you ensure that every family or group leaves with photos that are both festive and uniquely meaningful to them?

Well that’s a tricky one to answer cause we should ask them that ! … but basically what we aim for is creating the perfect moment as we believe everyone can take a nice posed portrait but it’s the interaction and laughter we hear that makes our sessions unique and meaningful.

Q:What does Christmas mean to you personally, and how do these photo shoots allow you to share that joy with others?

Christmas means two things to me: joy and chaos—and my photo shoots capture both! It’s all about spreading festive cheer, one family photo and a few dozen Christmas ornaments at a time!
