This too shall pass, dearies. I promise you. So, continue the jaw grinding. it does wonders to the double chin, cycle, or walk it keeps you fit, eat less. A meal a day, Nadu rice, is great. Home grown organic produce as sides. Plenty of water.
Every day the news channels that wish you a “Good Morning” continue to give you the day’s shocks in the same breath, so I do not watch much television or listen to radio here. And no, I’m not in Somalia, Afghanistan or even Ukraine. I am well abreast with current affairs in the resplendent island that was, and my heart bleeds for all those people who are in so much difficulty now. My heart breaks for the 69 whatever who had so much hope in a set of Nepotists who they had visions of turning the island into the most prosperous in Asia. And my annoyance accelerates about the rest who were deaf, dumb and blind, maimed and helpless for so long while the nation crumbled on all sides.
While we wake up in hope each day, we must remember, that every single person, except for, probably the members of the family that caused all this, and their henchmen, are on the same footing, starving, and without the essentials.
Think positive they say. System change is needed they say, more of cistern replacement due to clogging and overflow I might think. So, time is running out, like the money there was, and life is steadily grinding to a halt. What did we do about it? Nothing!! Are you on time? What time is it? Did you make it in time or has time run out? Are you out of time? Do you need more time? Are you saving time? Is it only a matter of time?
Talking of time, I face another issue as I write. They changed the time!!I Really hate all this time resetting stuff. My body doesn’t work right. My bio-rhythms are not synchronized. I stagger around half asleep for weeks because they took an hour away. And when I’ve finally adjusted, they change the time again.
The sun is still up at 9 in the night. Sure, more daylight in the evening will be nice, but moving daylight around isn’t saving anything. I go to bed at the same time, but my body thinks otherwise. So, I stay up later and then, can you believe it, I’m sleepy when I get up the next morning.
This stupidity needs to stop. There ought to be a law. Oh, wait, there is a law — except the law is that we all participate in this foolishness. The entire thing doesn’t make a lot of sense. Everyone explains why in a different way. One person on radio this morning said the time change is from the olden days when they were an agrarian culture and needed more daylight time to work the farm.!!!!
Oh, please! Who farms anymore — maybe two percent of the population? Farms are giant corporate enterprises farming with machinery and turning out food by the truckloads. They really don’t need extra daylight to hitch up old Ollie to the plow.
Others say it started because of the war. What war? World War II? The story goes that we saved energy and power for the war effort by messing with the time so that we have more daylight during the hours people are awake.!! Ha ha ha Oops and there I am wondering off as always. See I have my own grouses to deal with just like you. But my ranting might just take your mind off the horrible situation you face for even just a moment.
This too shall pass, dearies. I promise you. So, continue the jaw grinding. it does wonders to the double chin, cycle, or walk it keeps you fit, eat less. A meal a day, Nadu rice, is great. Home grown organic produce as sides. Plenty of water. I really do not have an answer as to what you can give your infants, but lactating mothers please consume more jackfruit it helps they say. These are the new lifestyle measures.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
