Hindus in Sri lanka celebrated Thai Pongal festival yesterday. A group of devotees gathered at the Sivan Kovil (Sri Ponnambalam Vanesar Kovil) in Kochchikade, Colombo to engage in religious rites in view of Thai Pongal.
