The English Writers Collective (EWC) will launch ‘Channels 2024’, celebrating its 30th anniversary, alongside the awards ceremony for its creative writing competition. Three winners in prose and poetry will be awarded by Chief Guest Dr. Carmel Miranda, winner of the 2020 Gratiaen Prize.
‘Channels 2024’ features the winning entries, highly commended works, and creative writing from EWC members, promoting novice writers in English. Dr Carmel will speak on ‘Creative Writing’ with reference to her prize winning novel
The event will be held at the International Centre for Ethnic Studies (ICES), Colombo 8, tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. Channels 2024 will be available for Rs. 1,300.All are welcome.
