The Communist party of China ( C P C) was founded in Shanghai on July 1,1921 with 13 members. Now it has grown to 93 Million members with 4.5 branches throughout China. The C P C is the world largest political organization.We are delighted to announce China will commemorate its 100th anniversary of founding of C P C in middle of this year.
Under the leadership of C P C the Chinese people drove away the imperialist powers overthrew the feudal warlords and established their own people ‘s Republic. Close to 100 years since its birth the C P C has always adhered to its original objectives and mission of seeking happiness for the Chinese people rejuvenation for the Chinese nation.
It has ruled China for more than 71 years and under the strong leadership of China has become the world’s second largest economy and eliminated absolute poverty from China.Sri Lanka China Society,with consultation of Chinese embassy in Sri Lanka, has decided to publish a book to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the C P C. In this book we are publishing a few articles about C P C and China.
In addition S L C S is preparing to grant 100 scholarships to needy students in Sri Lanka with assistance of our
Chinese friends.
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the C P C the Sri Lanka China Society sincerely wishes that the Chinese people under the leadership of C P C with President Xi Jinping at the core will be successful in achieving the two centenary goals and realize the Chinese dream of National rejuvenation.
