It is with heavy hearts that we gather to commemorate the life of our dear friend, Trevinne, who left us all too soon. Two years have passed since COVID-19 took him from our amidst, but the memories we hold dear to us continue to shine bright.
Trevinne wasn’t merely a friend; he was a radiant presence, a wellspring of joy, laughter, and unwavering support. From the earliest days of our childhood, a bond was formed that time could not fray. Together, we weathered 14 years of life’s highs and lows, growing side by side at the school by the sea.
Our reminiscences with Trevinne and our group of friends stand as a testament to his remarkable character. His laughter, a melodious symphony, had the power to uplift anyone, breathing life into those around him. Trevinne had a unique knack for transforming ordinary moments into extraordinary memories that we continue to cherish forever.
As it is important to recognize that Trevinne’s legacy extends beyond the pain of his untimely departure. He was a friend who left an indelible mark on our lives, a mark that words cannot entirely capture. In a world sometimes tainted by chaos and despair, Trevinne was a shining example for kindness, love, and friendship which are the true treasures one should cherish. As his childhood companions, we endeavor to carry forward his legacy, reaching out to those in need through scholarships, charitable contributions, and community service - just as Trevinne himself embodied the divine way of touching lives.
As we bid our fond farewells once more, let us hold fast to Trevinne’s spirit, honouring his memory by embracing life to the fullest, as he would have wished. May we become beacons of positivity and mirth for others, much like Trevinne was for us. Although his physical presence may be absent, his spirit endures eternally in our hearts, binding us in perpetuity.
Rest in peace, dear Trevinne (Trevia). Your memory will forever serve as a guiding light, leading us through even the darkest of times. Until we meet again.
