Kandy Y.M.M.A Organised a grand International Children’s day event on October 2, 2022 at its association club house. Dr. Muzammil Cader, founder of Daffodils, made it even grander as Daffodils was his brain child.
The Children of Daffodils Special Needs School and RIO Orphans participated during the events and showcased
their talents.
The Event was chaired by President of Kandy Y.M.M.A. A.S.M. Ghazali. Niyas Abbas, sponsor of Daffodils, Graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The Deputy Mayor of Kandy I. Abdeen and Afzal Marikar who holds the post of Pakistan Honorary Consul General, were the Guests of Honour.
And the special guests were Vice Presidents Hafiz Marikar and S. F. M. Zavahir. M. Saheed, M. Rizmi (Immediate Past President of ACYMMAC), M. Fazil Vice President ACYMMAC, Faiez Samad, M. Gufran, M. Nifraz Treasurer ACYMMAC, M.Mansoor and M. Malik also participated. Niyas Abbas and Afzal Marikar assured their support to further develop Y.M.M.A Kandy as well as Daffodils during their respective speeches. The Teachers of Daffodils had taken much effort to train and discipline their children and they showed their talents to entertain a full house.
Adeeb Gazali, an old boy of Daffodils, was a tower of strength in organising the event. Special mention must be made of their District Director Ihthisham Mohamed and his team who helped in decorating the hall.
