An event organized by QUEST International University Perak (QIU) together with Seekers Worldwide (Pvt) Ltd. Around 200 of Sri Lanka’s best and brightest students will compete in the inaugural QIU Science Challenge 2019 on 9th March at the Sri Lanka Foundation.
This event is organised by Malaysia’s QIU and Seekers Worldwide (Pvt) Ltd.. Sri Lanka scholarships will be awarded to the top three teams.
As one of the fastest growing universities in its region, QIU offers courses in multiple fields of study and sets itself apart from the competition by focusing on its graduates’ employability.
QIU’s MBBS programme, recognized by the Sri Lanka Medical Council, is also listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools. Further, the University is an approved centre for the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) training.

The QIU Science Challenge 2019 marks the first time that QIU has been involved with an event of this nature in Sri Lanka. The competition aims to encourage analytical and scientific knowledge in students. It also promotes group engagement and camaraderie among the participants.
Professor Ravindra Fernando, Senior Professor of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Colombo, and His Excellency Yang Thai Tan, High Commissioner of Malaysia in Sri Lanka, will grace the occasion as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, respectively.
