Donation of energy beverages to NHSL
Bed linen comprising of 820 bed sheets and 750 pillow cases were also provided to the Covid treatment wards in the above three hospitals costing Rs.455,000.
20 oxygen flow regulators costing Rs.425,000 were also donated to the ICU of the National Hospital of Sri Lanka.
Rs. 846,365 was donated to the Colombo South Teaching Hospital to help construction of an urgently required High Dependency Unit for better care of Covid infected patients.
The De Soysa Hospital for Women was provided with Rs. 400,000 to help construction of the new Covid ward complex of the hospital for future use.
The High Dependency Unit at the Kalawana Base Hospital to which we provided a highly flow oxygen delivery costing Rs 2.1 million in July 2021, was provided with additional oxygen flow meters, infusion pump and x-ray illuminator costing Rs. 270,000 in October 2021.
All these contributions were possible through the generosity of members of Success Colombo, and philanthropists from Sri Lanka who contributed Rs.1,209, 500.
Friends in Dhamma from Ontario, Canada; headed by Mahinda Gunasekere contributed Rs.450,395.94 .
Friends in Dhamma of Perth, Australia headed by Ananda Thilakasiri contributed Rs.516,710.
The Society for Peace, Unity and Reconciliation in Sri Lanka (SPUR of Melbourne Australia), headed by Dr. Dasrath Jayasuriya, contributed Rs 500,000 to complete the above projects is the Dr. Anula Wijesundere President, Success Colombo.
