WE WILL NOT BE MOVED

One month after the deadly carnage of Easter Sunday, I am proud to carry in full what Sri Lankans are exhorting their fellow Sri Lankans to do; to stand tall and not bow or give in to the imbecilic thinking of the radicals!!!  We will not be moved, we cannot be moved, you can try but you will not succeed!!!
Fellow citizens, one month after the terror attacks, let’s look at the facts and rise to stabilize the economy:

1. Sri Lankans were attacked on 21 April 2019 with Coordinated attacks targeting 3 hotels and 3 churches.
2 The immediate Security Blanket on the island prevented 12 other attempts
3. Sri Lankans witnessed the activation of a Full Spectrum security response to cripple terrorist activities-

4. The POLITICAL LEADERSHIP FAILED,

5. Sri Lankans survived the LTTE terror.
6. Sri Lankans survived the IS attempt at terror.
7. Sri Lankans will NOT allow politicians to play games nor divest responsibility.
8. Sri Lankans say in ONE voice: you messed with the wrong people and the wrong country!
9. The people must now RISE to restore the ECONOMY. Do not play into the hands of terror promoters.
One month of shock, anger and sadness are all we will allow terrorists to witness.

10. Let us together take back what terror tactics tried to rip away from us!
Let us together campaign for Sri Lanka!!
11. We will NOT  allow our communities to divide
      - the more you try - the closer we will become
12. We will not destroy what you failed to destroy –
Our Unity, our faith, our harmony and our economy so that those who died, did not die in vain.
Never again will we let you divide a nation and its people:
nWe stand together as ONE with loyalty, embracing what is harmonious.
nLet us restore normalcy by starting to live life so that those who depend on us can recover

SALUTING OUR SECURITY FORCES:

The Naval contingent stationed at St Anthony’s Church, Kochchikade and the Air Force contingent, who carried out Security at Infant Jesus Church, Slave Island for the Masses last Sunday, do indeed deserve the highest praise for their total dedication to duty carried out with so much Humanity,
Courtesy, kindness and such an absolute willingness to help!!!  They were marvellous, as indeed  I am sure they all are, wherever they are stationed.  We should all rise as a country to salute these men and women, who are risking their own lives, their own security and the security of their beloved families, on
a daily basis to keep us safe.!!!  They are the true men and women of this country that deserve all the praise and honour, MOST CERTAINLY NOT OUR POLITICIANS!!!
FOR THE INCREDIBLE, WONDERFUL MEN AND WOMEN OUT THERE, THE UNSUNG HEROES AND HEROINES
OF THE SECURITY FORCES, FOR ALWAYS BEING THERE FOR US, BLESSINGS ON YOU IN ABUNDANCE ALL THE
DAYS OF YOUR LIVES.
