The Assistant Conservator of Forests Lalith Gamage has compiled a Pocket Book on Forest Laws. A copy of the book was recently, handed over to subject minister C. B. Ratnayake at the ministry auditorium.
Lalith Gamage who is also the Secretary of the Forest Resources Conservationist Organisation earlier published a book titled ‘The Law For The Conservation Of Forests And Wildlife In Sri Lanka’. The book was originally published in Sinhala. It is now available in English and Tamil languages. The minister commended the work done by Mr. Gamage to protect the forest resources amid challenges.
