All decisions taken must be for the people’s well-being

All decisions taken in the New Year will have to be ones which lead to the well-being of all people, UNP Deputy Leader Ruwan Wijewardene said yesterday.

  In his New Year message, Mr. Wijewardene said the ultimate goal of the New Year should be to work towards the betterment of all people in the country and to defeat undemocratic forces. 

“Let’s pose a challenge to all the challenges that come our way. I wish all Sri Lankans a year which all their expectations come true,” he added.
