The Exterminators (Pvt) Ltd is delighted to announce that the company was awarded the ‘International CSR Excellence Award’ at a presentation ceremony that was held at Waldrof Hilton, London on September 27th.
The company competed with over 500 nominations globallyat the CSR Excellence Awards for 2021. Since March 2020 Exterminators have disinfected 151 properties throughout Sri Lanka, free-of-charge.
These properties include elders’ homes, children’s homes, police stations, schools, religious venues and public transport stations etc.Since July 2020 salaries of Exterminators employees were increased by 10-40 percent according to the performance and alsodonated 5 company motorbikes to the high-risk COVID-19 disinfection team and further donations were given for children’seducation, employee higher studies and renovating homes.
As a result of this International CSR Excellence Award success, Exterminators has been invited to have their winning paper published in The Global Guide to CSR Excellence (the leading international work of reference on corporate social responsibility best practice) so that others around the world can follow their lead and learn from their achievement. “We knew if we failed, we wouldn’t regret it, but we knew we would certainly regret doing nothing.
