HNB PLC, Sri Lanka’s premier private sector bank, has partnered with leading agricultural machinery and equipment supplier Hayleys Agriculture to bring its customer bases the best options in leasing solutions along with exciting benefits for agricultural machinery.
The renewed collaboration, which presents agricultural customers with special rates on tractors and harvesters, was officiated at Hayleys Agriculture office in Colombo in the presence of HNB DGM Retail and SME Banking Sanjay Wijemanne and Hayleys Agriculture Managing Director Jayanthi Dharmasena.
“The past two years have been very difficult for the agricultural sector, given the many changes in policy and turbulent weather conditions. Despite these obstacles, the sector has remained resilient, establishing national food security and exporting goods where possible. Therefore, we worked especially hard to provide our customers in the sector with the best possible deals in the market and we hope many will make use of this opportunity to fulfil their needs,” Wijemanne said.
The partnership will reign in leasing packages with low-interest rates, tailor-made to fit the boundaries of each and every customer’s budget. They will also be presented with a Prestige prime credit card, of which the first-year annual fee would be waived off. Additionally, the cardholders will be able to enjoy special discounts on all agricultural heavy machinery, servicing, spare parts, tyres and batteries.
Customers can also enjoy insurance premiums by HNB general insurance, which offers free life insurance cover worth Rs.4.5 million to cover accidental deaths for HNB customers for agri machinery leases. Moreover, HNB Assurance will offer Rs.600,000 worth of Natural Death Insurance cover.
