The effort falls under one of the three focus areas of the CSR People’s Leasing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), environment conservation, whereas the other two focus areas are education upliftment, and empowerment of local communities.

The project was initiated in accordance with a concept by Shamindra Marcelline Chief Executive Officer/General Manager of People’s Leasing Company. The main objective of this initiative is to streamline the waste management process and assisting in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Through the development of this 3R methodology, it provides a beneficial effect on the conservation of the environment and to the well-being of  human beings.
