The Sri Lanka Institute of Confectionery & Culinary Arts (SLICCA), previously known as Finest Bakes Institute, will be hosting the annual exhibition on January 29 and 30, at Hotel Galadari.
The chief guest of the event will be Trade Minister Bandula Gunawardana.
The sugar show will be opened for the public on both days from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The SLICCA takes the honour in hosting the Sri Lankan Cake Award Competition for the fourth consecutive year. Cake artists across the country are nominatwed in over 20 categories as finalists.
Over 250 exhibits will be displayed from the students and cake artists as finalists.
The public is to visit to the ultimate sugar show in the country.
Sri Lankan Cake Award is all about recognising talents.
SLICCA Founder Dr. F. Rushda will take the role in judging, along with a panel of international judges, who will be joining the show virtually.
