Contributing a gift that can change lives and spread cheer, SLT-Mobitel has partnered with the Senehasa Educational Resource Research and Information Center (SERRIC) to support children with special needs and help them celebrate the festive season.
Senehasa was established to care and support children with special needs, belonging to families of the Armed Forces and the Police and functions under the Ranaviru Seva Authority of the Ministry of Defence.
The Center provides clinical, therapeutic, and education facilities for the children while operating as a resource and information facility conducting workshops, seminars and training, focusing on parents, teachers and teacher assistants on special needs education.
To mark the festive season, the children produced unique items including Christmas and New Year cards and wrapping paper aimed at showcasing their creativity. Proceeds from all items sold will be placed in a special fund for the welfare of these children.
