Amana Bank now in Kinniya

Amana Bank expanded its services to the Trincomalee district with the opening of its 23rd branch at Kinniya recently. With the entry to Kinniya, the Bank expands its presence in the Eastern Province to eight locations. The opening ceremony was held under the patronage of the Hon Chief Minister of the Eastern Province Mr Najeeb Abdul Majeed and attended by Amana Bank’s Chief Operating Officer Mr Mohamed Azmeer along with the Bank’s Senior Management, government officials, local businessmen and customers.

Addressing the opening, Hon. Chief Minister Mr Najeeb Abdul Majeed said “I am very happy and thankful to Amana Bank for extending their non-interest based financial services to this area. Their presence will assist the businesses especially the fisheries trade in the region”

Sharing his views Amana Bank’s Chief Operating Officer Mr Mohamed Azmeer said “Kinniya is a township with a lot of potential and the Bank seeks to partner with the people of Kinniya by providing them a complete range of asset-based finance solutions which operate on a profit and loss sharing model”

The Kinniya branch will provide wide range of products and services such as Current accounts, Savings accounts, Foreign Currency Accounts, Children’s Savings accounts, Term Investment accounts, Housing Finance, Leasing, SME Banking, Corporate Banking, Trade Services, Treasury Services as well as ATM facilities.
