Etisalat Lanka targets 200 base stations in 100 days

Etisalat Lanka (Private) Limited sets to complete 200 base stations across the island in just 100 days as a part of its ongoing phase in coverage and capacity expansion. This move is a part of Etisalat’s continuous service excellence commitments to its customers.

 


The initiative is aimed at further strengthening island wide connectivity and reach as part of the company’s rapid expansion of network infrastructure. The 200 base stations commissioned under this project will be inclusive of both 2G and 3G sites, spanning over 8 districts. Following the investments committed by Etisalat Lanka for the continuous service enhancement; the current phase of this project is planned to complete by 31st January 2015.
