IPM to host Business Leaders’ Forum with Prof. T.V. Rao

The Institute of Personnel Management of Sri Lanka (IPM) - the leading professional human resources management body in Sri Lanka - will stage a Business Leaders’ Power Breakfast Forum from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at the Oak Room, Cinnamon Grand, Colombo.
The keynote speaker will be the renowned HR expert Professor T.V. Rao, who together with MP and Highways, Higher Education and Investment Promotion Deputy Minister Eran Wickramaratne, will address a distinguished gathering of business leaders on ‘How HR and Good Governance Can Drive Any Business’.
The objective of this Business Leaders’ Forum is to highlight the importance of developing human resources in the operation, growth and governance of companies and to share insights.
The above Business Leaders’ Breakfast Forum will be preceded by a workshop on Monday, March 23, 2015 at Ivy Room, Cinnamon Grand on ‘How HRD Audit and HR Scorecard can Drive Businesses’, a forum dedicated for those in the field of HR, aiming to aid HR professionals to evaluate, through an HRD scorecard, as to how well the HRD efforts and strategies drive business goals and their achievement. The workshop complements the main Business Leaders Power Breakfast Forum.  
Prof. Rao is currently the Chairman of Talam Venkateswara Rao Learning System. He was a Professor at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) between 1973 and 1994 and a Visiting or Adjunct Professor until 2014 and is also a member of the IIMA Society and the Board of Governors.
