At the recently concluded World Marketing Congress, held at Taj Land End in Mumbai. Shehan Selvanayagam, the CEO of Loops Solutions received recognition for his efforts in promoting and driving growth in the digital space in Sri Lanka
In addition to winning this title, Loops Solutions also won the award for the ‘Best use of social media in marketing’on behalf of Seylan Bank.On receiving the awards, Shehan said, “These two awards, more than showing how successful Loops is in exceeding customer expectations, shows that digital media is becoming very mainstream in Sri Lanka. Businesses are now awake to the fact that Digital Media can help them achieve growth at a significantly lower cost when compared with traditional media.”
In addition t o winning t hese t wo prestigious titles, Shehan was also a speaker at the conference being the only Sri Lankan to be featured which was attended by several leading brands from India and other South Asian countries.Shehan hails from an e-commerce background in Sri Lanka having over 10 years of experience. He has a BSc in Business Management, MSc in Information Technology and Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) which are the three branches which make up E-Commerce.
