Sunquick creates Golden moments with “Sunquick Gold”

Sunquick, Sri Lanka’s number one brand in the Fruit Squash and Cordial market has reached yet another milestone through the introduction of a new flavour to its product portfolio. Sunquick launched its new flavour "Sunquick Gold- Orange, at a glamorous launch ceremony held at Cinnamon Lakeside, Colombo, recently. The new packaging and communication material of the new product were also unveiled at this ceremony.
Sunquick Gold, the newly developed Sunquick orange recipe is the sweeter alternative to other orange cordials. The new Sunquick Gold is based on a new recipe, a special blend that gives Sunquick Gold the sweeter taste. With the new concept design and taste, Sunquick Gold provides significant value to the category and stretches the Sunquick brand. Sunquick Gold invites new consumers to the category without alienating current Sunquick Orange users. All in all, a golden opportunity for the Sri Lankan customers to experience the internationally newly developed recipe with a premium quality. The new label design emphasizes the premium and unique taste of Sunquick Gold. With the black and gold colors, Sunquick Gold will stand out on the shelves and be easy for consumers to recognize.
Mr. Mangala Perera, Executive Director, C. W. Mackie PLC sharing his views on the occasion said, "Sunquick Gold is a line extension to the existing Sunquick brand. We will introduce a new product to the market that has a strong reference back to the original Sunquick brand. We want our loyal consumers to understand the value of creating Golden Moments for each other. We remember Golden Moments for life and that is what Sunquick Gold is all about. Speaking further about the launch, he said, "Consumer tests show that there is a market opportunity in changing our basic flavor to a sweeter version. With Sunquick Gold, we use a special blend, making the product taste even sweeter."
