He plays mediator now!

There is a mediator active now to help smooth out differences and resolve issues that come up in the new government formed with the Green chief giving the leadership to the Pohottuwa group in the Diyawanna council. 

 

This mediator is said to be carrying messages back and forth between the Green party chief and the Pohottuwa group and also helping to iron out problems cropping up from time to time. 

He has also become the medium for exchange of messages between Number Two and Number One and has been instrumental in bringing about an understanding between the two as in the case of the recent issue with regard to the main bank chief. 

This mediator of ‘new village’ fame who did not receive an office at the top team level  in the new government despite being a Pohottuwa senior, hails from the upcountry!
